Abu Dhabi had added heat this Saturday with UFC’s main event, Khabib vs Poirier. The fight was phenomenal with Poirier displaying some grappling defence, as he caught Khabib with a guillotine, but the Russian bear skilfully managed to escape and resume his task of pinning his opponent and grounding and pounding.

Poirier in a moment of weakness gave his neck and the story was over and Khabib after a few neck cranks, slipped in and ended it with a choke, causing a sudden tap. The fight was formidable.
