PAUL COSTA’S 3 EXCUSES TO WHY HE LOST

LEGEND OF SLICE

PAUL COSTA’S 3 EXCUSES

Paul Costa’s loss last week, still has many confused and baffled. However, the beating he received from Israel Adesanya has made the Brazilian’s camp generate many excuses as to how he lost the fight.

So, what are the excuses?

The first one comes from Paulo Costa himself, not really an excuse but a simple narrative that something went wrong, and only he knows. Next is that he would hopefully see Israel Adesanya down the road for a rematch. And hopefully, defeat the “Stylebender”. This reason for his loss is simple and indicates the Brazilian will be bouncing back as he works on himself.

Nevertheless, things change rapidly over time, and Israel may not be the champion anymore. So, would a rematch be worth it? Only time will tell.

The second excuse comes from his manager who allegedly claimed that Paulo Costa did not follow the game plan and that resulted in his loss. Now, this excuse is where it becomes problematic because the script is beginning to change. It does not favour the Brazilian.

When Deontay Wilder was destroyed by Tyson Fury during their second fight, his excuse was peculiar, but it left people to speculate. He said the reason for his loss was that the mask he wore or the outfit he had on when he walked into the ring was heavy. It weighed him down and resulted in him being winded before the fight begun. This reasoning may be fantasy but at least that was the one story and they may be a rematch against Tyson Fury. A pathetic excuse, it at least offered his die-hard fans something to cling to.

The 3rd excuse in Paulo Costa’s camp comes from the coach, who he said that his fighter had a nerve issue affecting his left side. Now this tale is fine and can connect with Costa’s first reason for his loss. Nonetheless, if going to go that route of making excuses as a fighter, it would be better to have your team stick to one script.
