FRIENDS TO FOES: IS JORGE VS COLBY THE BEST FIGHT FOR THE UFC TO MAKE?

FRIENDS TO FOES

The classical story of friends turned foes, is a perfect story if done properly. It is a cliché but a tale with this theme that people still tell. But when it is real-life, it does not matter how many times people tell this tale, it will get the attention of people regardless.

Especially when the story is genuine, and by genuine what is meant is that it is not a fabrication. Certain feuds is a creation to grab people’s attention and raise money for both fighting parties. This tactic has been used in sports, and especially in the music industry with rap.

The feud, however, between Colby and Masvidal is not one that has been made up. The two used to be friends. And now they are enemies. What has caused the rift between the two is said to stem from the changes Colby did to his brand, to get the UFC’s attention. The story was that he was about to be cut and then Colby became loud and started to wear a MAGA hat.

Added to that is the addition of having women around him as an entourage. Nonetheless, the hate is much more than that, it could also stem from the competition. Colby is an extremely competitive person and the relationship between the two is that they were best friends and roommates. There is plenty of footage of the two during their friendship days. Like Tupac vs Biggie, the MMA equivalent.
